Insurance industry representatives from all over Texas and other states gathered at a reception for retired Deputy Commissioner Danny Saenz. The reception was held at The Headliners Club in Austin, Texas and was sponsored by Forrest Roan, Jose Montemayor, American Insurance Association, Old American Group, and the Texas Land Title Association, to name a few. Saenz began his career with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) as an examiner trainee. He went on to serve as assistant chief examiner for market conduct examinations and director of financial analysis and examinations.
