Messages from the CEO | FNTI Expands to Florida!

When First National Title Insurance Company (FNTI) was created, we knew we would eventually expand to other states. We also knew that we would select states with strong networks of independent agents, solid title premiums, and low claims. Last year, we identified Florida as our next target and spent a majority of the year developing the strategy to succeed in that market. I am pleased to announce that FNTI is now licensed and open for business in the great state of Florida...

George's Update | First Quarter Results Are In! FNTI Moves to #6 in Texas!
George's Update

The results for the first quarter are in, and we at First National Title (FNTI) are very excited. While there are multitudes of ways to judge one’s success, this blog will talk about FNTI’s performance by way of market share. Just as you might judge your performance by market share in your respective markets, FNTI is no different in this arena and we have some great news. Underwriting Q&A's

Q: Can “successors and assigns” and/or the “ISAOA” acronym be inserted on an Insured Closing Protection Letter issued in Texas?
A: No, that is not allowed in Texas and would be viewed as an impermissible alteration of a promulgated form by the TDI.  However, the Texas ICPL contains the following language, with emphasis added, that includes an assignee or warehouse lender among the parties protected by the coverage of the letter...

Latest News

First National Title Insurance Company (FNTI) is now licensed and fully operational in the state of Florida. “First National’s growth strategy is to expand our territory to select states with strong networks of independent agents, solid title premiums, and low claims. In early 2015, we determined that Florida met this criterion. We then spent a majority of the year developing the strategy necessary to succeed in that market,” stated FNTI President Chris Phillips. “We have the staff and processes in place to grow a network of independent agents looking for an underwriter who shares their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to succeeding in this competitive market.”...
