In August, First National Title Insurance Company set up a fund to support our independent agents in the Houston area affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Through the generous donations of our employees, friends, and another regional underwriter, Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company, we were able exceed our goal and raise over $10,000. 

Now comes the most important and enjoyable part of this effort—the giving. Of the 14 independent agents that represent FNTI in the Gulf Coast Region, four companies reached out to us for support. I am pleased to report that we have distributed over $10,000 to the following agents...

Being intentional is having a plan—an aim with guided action to create change or success. Most hunters are planning their hunts this time of year by using video to locate the best hunting results. Football teams are scouting other teams and installing game plans to compete effectively against their opponents and win. Most businesses are in the process of completing budgets for next year and concentrating on numbers they can expect to grow. These are all examples of focusing intentionally to create greatness. One roadblock to being intentional is assumptions. We assume growth or change will happen over time, naturally, without a plan. Although this is possible in some cases, we need to intentionally focus on a guided plan for a better opportunity and success...
